Every dollar we give supports health and human services, community development, and education. From funding local nonprofits to sponsoring cherished community events, we’ve had the honor of meeting the people whose lives are directly touched by these efforts. For example, in 2024 alone we poured over $650,000 back into the region through grants, partnerships, and sponsorships.

Funding Guidelines

Scholarships for Tomorrow's Leaders

Higher education should be within reach for everyone. Each year, we award $5,000 scholarships to students heading to college, trade school, or university. Open to Washington Financial Bank customers and their immediate families, applicants are evaluated on their grades, community service, and financial need. Applications are due by March 31st, and completing the process is simple with our online form.
